Dale and Debra Taylor began growing their first trees in 1978. Those trees were big enough to sell in the winter of 1982, and Christmas Pines Tree Farm was born. It was operated solely as a choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm until 2000 when we began offering ball-and-burlap dug evergreens to the landscape trade.
Since 2000 the farm has added other species to the inventory. As the nursery business grew, the Christmas tree business diminished, and in 2007 we closed the Christmas tree portion of our operations. Since the Christmas Pines name no longer fit our function, we decided to change our name to better reflect what we do.
We now have three separate parcels of land with 82 acres devoted to landscape trees. Dale Taylor Farms has delivered trees across the county and as far away as New York City.
